Meet Lisa. Lisa is a six-year-old Shih Tzu who weighs 10 lbs, with a soft heart and the kind of gentle presence that makes a house feel instantly warmer. She came to us alongside her companion Oscar after their beloved owner passed away. It's clear these two were deeply loved, and Lisa carries that sweetness with her in everything she does. She's a classic little Shih Tzu in all the best ways—affectionate, snuggly, and happiest when she's close to her people. Lisa loves curling up next to you (or preferably on your lap) and settling in for a cozy evening of TV and cuddles. She has been living comfortably in a home with other dogs and teenagers and seems to get along wonderfully with everyone. One small thing to know about Lisa: she's not quite sure how she feels about the leash yet. It seems like she may not have had much experience with it, so she'll need a patient family willing to help her learn that walks can actually be a pretty great adventure.
