About Meet Snoopy – The
Snoopy – Rare Chocolate Beagle Ready for Epic Sniff Adventures! Not many people have seen a chocolate (liver-colored) beagle before… but once you meet Snoopy, you’ll never forget him. Snoopy is an 11-month-old chocolate beagle with soulful amber eyes, freckled paws, and the kind of expressive face that seems to tell a story. With his warm coloring and velvety ears, he looks like he stepped right out of a classic Norman Rockwell illustration — the timeless picture of the cheerful, loyal family dog. Beagles have long been the perfect dog archetype, beloved for their friendly nature, expressive faces, and joyful spirit. And yes, this charming boy shares his name with another famous beagle — Snoopy of the Peanuts gang — though our Snoopy spends less time battling the Red Baron and more time happily playing with toys and soaking up affection from his people. At just 11 months old, Snoopy is a playful, affectionate young pup who loves being part of the action. Fetch and catch are two of his favorite games, and after a fun day he’s perfectly content curling up with his special gray blanket. Snoopy is crate trained and housebroken, and he settles quietly in his crate overnight. If he sees his person nearby, he may give a little beagle protest to say hello — but that’s simply because he loves being close to his people. His long floppy “flying nun” ears bounce beside him as he explores the world with that famous beagle nose. Beagles have been bred for hundreds of years to follow scent trails, so activities that let Snoopy use his nose are some of the best mental exercise he can get. Simple “Find It” scent games — hiding treats or toys for him to sniff out — are a wonderful way to keep this clever boy happy and engaged. Snoopy will thrive with a family who enjoy accompanying him on great "Sniff Adventures" through the neighborhood and beyond. A curious beagle nose can lead to all sorts of fascinating discoveries! Of course, those adventures should always happen securely on leash, lest Snoopy follow his nose clear to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! Because beagles are natural explorers who love following their noses, a home with a secure, fenced yard a must so Snoopy can safely enjoy games in the garden with his family. He gets along well with other dogs and is great with kids, making him a truly wonderful family companion. Snoopy came to us when his previous family’s schedule changed with work and a new baby. They wanted this active young pup to have the opportunity to grow up in a home where he can receive the time, attention, and love he deserves. He is the kind of cheerful young fellow that families fall in love with quickly, so if he sounds like your perfect match we encourage you to apply. If you’ve been dreaming of a cheerful, affectionate beagle to share life’s little adventures — and plenty of sniff adventures too — then consider Snoopy your perfect match. Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport. We use what we think is the best dog transport service in the region and have for years - Andrea and her crew really offer first class transport!
