Meet Penny! She is a 8 yr old spayed female "Shepadoodle" (German Shepherd/Poodle). She weighs 51#s and has a very nice, non-shedding wire coat thanks to her poodle heritage. She is completely housebroken, knows all her basic obedience and LOVES to play fetch. She was surrendered to Rescue after her owner suddenly and unexpectedly passed away and her "mom" had to move into town to a apartment where she couldn't have her. She's lived with bossy little Tikka her whole life, and her mom thought it might be a nice change for her not to have to! She is a kind, quiet, well mannered dog that would make an excellent choice for a mature person or couple looking for a low maintenance fully trained house dog who could bring them joy and companionship. She should not be around cats and has never been around small, fast moving children.
