Brighton is a lovable, high-energy 60-pound boy who lives for people and attention. Smart and eager to please, he thrives on human connection and will happily throw himself at your feet for hugs and rubs. He'd do best with an active person or family - he loves to sprint and would make a great running buddy. He is house-trained, learns new tricks quickly and responds wonderfully to positive reinforcement. He is currently working on leash training with his foster and is excited to meet other dogs but remains calm when other dogs are overly loud or excited. Brighton experiences some separation anxiety and can be vocal when left alone in his crate, so someone who is patient and willing to help him build confidence and independence would be best.
