She enjoys daily walks and interactive time, but she’s equally happy relaxing nearby once her needs are met. She’s currently thriving in a foster home with other pets and does best with structure, routine, and clear boundaries. What Freckles is like: • Confident, playful, and affectionate once she feels safe • Walks well on leash and enjoys daily outings • Good with cats • Does best with small, neutered male dogs • Can be reactive to larger dogs and female dogs • Prefers a calm environment and respectful handling • Does not like being picked up • Bonds closely with her person and enjoys companionship Ideal home: Freckles would do best in a calm home with adults or older teens who understand dog behavior and will respect her boundaries. She can live happily in an apartment or a house, as long as she gets daily walks and a consistent routine. She would be happiest as an only dog or with a small, neutered male dog.
