Meet Baxter, a one-year-old Newfoundland located near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Baxter greets the world with enthusiasm, which looks like jumping up to say hello and covering you in happy kisses. He loves being close to his people and canine friends, whether that means snuggling on the couch or supervising dinner prep. He previously lived with cats and young kids and did well with both, though his excitement can sometimes get the better of him. He's a very sweet, affectionate boy who just wants to be part of the action. Baxter is still very much in his teenage phase, which means he's playful, curious, and occasionally a little mischievous. He gets along well with other dogs and shares toys nicely, though he sometimes tries to hump the grown-ups when he's feeling especially silly.
