About Mago

Mago is a 5 year old, fuzzy Galgo. His fuzz makes everyone stop and look at him in amazement! He is cat safe and living in foster with one currently, along with a male dog. He loves to sunbathe and roll in the grass, then snooze in his big, cozy dog bed. He is currently fostered in Central Florida and looking for a forever home.

About Galgo Spanish Greyhound Dogs

Galgos are graceful Spanish sighthounds similar to Greyhounds but with a leaner build and longer tail. They have been used for hunting in Spain for centuries. Sadly, many Galgos are abandoned after hunting season, making adoption especially meaningful for this breed.

Adopting a Galgo is a life-changing rescue for both dog and owner. They are gentle, quiet, and incredibly grateful companions who bond deeply with their adoptive families. Like Greyhounds, they are surprisingly calm and couch-loving indoors despite their racing heritage.
