Laura (aka Winnie) is a 9 year old Terrier mixed breed who was returned recently due to circumstances beyond her control. Her paper lists her as a Shih Tzu but we feel she's mislabeled - she's approximately 25 pounds. Her former home said she is very well behaved and does great with their kids. She loves to go for walks and play with toys. She sleeps in her dog bed at night and she loves car rides. She had the run of the house when the family would leave and she did well. She is playful, sweet and loving and she'd love to find her forever home soon! You are welcome to submit an inquiry for more information about this dog, but please note that we strongly encourage potential adopters to come and see us in person and speak with an adoption counselor. We do ask for 24 hours time to respond to an inquiry (48 hours on weekends) and often a dog is adopted before you get a response back. If this dog was not good with other dogs, cats or has a restriction with kids, we will note them in the bio. Because each animal is different, we do always require introductions with resident dogs, dogs that visit frequently, and all family members. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert.
