About Armani
Armani is an 11-month-old black and golden Doberman Pinscher living with cervical spondylomyelopathy, a neurological disease that causes unsteadiness and bathroom control issues. He wears diapers and is prone to falling, sometimes picking up minor scrapes—his nose still shows last week's tumble. Armani needs constant supervision: he will swallow anything he can get ahold of, from towels to toys to whatever is within reach. This isn’t a dog for a casual home. He requires an experienced, disciplined owner ready to manage his protective instincts and his ongoing medical needs. Despite the challenges, Armani warms to everyone and gets along well with other animals and children. Keeping him socialized is important; he thrives around people and pets alike. If you’re up for the commitment and confident in handling a dog with complex needs, Armani could be the right companion. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Armani
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Armani, as a Doberman Pinscher, does best in a home with an experienced owner who understands both the physical needs and the mental stimulation these dogs require. An environment that is calm, structured, and secure is ideal, especially given his neurological condition.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Dobermans like Armani are large, active dogs that appreciate a secure yard to move about, but Armani's mobility issues mean he’ll need a safe, supervised outdoor area with minimal hazards. Regular, gentle outings are more important for him than extensive running space.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Armani gets along with children, and generally Dobermans can make excellent family dogs. With Armani's special needs, kids should be supervised and understand how to interact gently and safely with him.
