About Justin Rose
Meet Justin Rose, a goofy young dog who has been in our care since September 2025 and is ready for a home of his own. He’s smart, food-motivated, and offers automatic sits for treats. Justin knows sit, down, paw, and stay, takes treats gently, and enjoys hikes, water, fetch, and exploring. He rides well in the car, redirects easily on leash, and stayed calm and friendly meeting adults in public. He appears to be potty trained, alerts when he needs to go out, and can entertain himself with toys. Justin is very much a large puppy: bouncy, mouthy at times, and full of energy. He’s dog-friendly with a rough-and-rowdy play style and can be pushy or mount during excitement, but he responds well to verbal cues. He has some prey drive toward small animals and needs durable equipment, as he chewed through a flat leash. In the crate, he settles after a short adjustment period and did well with baths and handling. No issues were noted with toys, chews, or treats being taken from him. Justin Rose will do best in an adult-only (18+) home or with older teens who can help guide his training and routine. Families may be considered case-by-case. With structure, consistency, and outlets for his energy, Justin has all the makings of a fun, active companion.
