Hello everyone, I'm glad you stopped on my profile to learn all about me! You see, I came to this great rescue after my owner passed away, and no one in the family wanted me or my older sister. Thus in turn, they took us to the county shelter and signed off for us to be euthanized! Well, yes, I was a horrible matted mess(see one of the photos posted) but sadly, my sister was in worse shape, and she didn't make it out of the shelter. I heard them say that the kindest thing to do was to let her go with love. Well, they sent a plea out to my Foster Mom, and she jumped right on me, and here I am! I did go to the groomer and she did the best she could with getting all that matted mess off of me, but my legs, well I am really matted badly there and my back nails are really long, so I will need to be sedated to get all that mess off of me. Mom is in process of scheduling that, along with a very much needed dental. Stay tuned for updates on that! When I was turned in to the shelter, they told the workers that I was 8 years old but my microchip says 12 years old. I am 10 pounds and an adorable Yorkie in my golden years! I am spayed, had my vaccines and am heartworm negative! My manners appear good for an Old Lady in the prime of her life, and I will add so much love to yours! I am good with the other dogs in my Foster home, but there are no cats or children there, so Mom doesn't know how I'd be with them. I do LOVE car rides!! While my dental and groom is being scheduled/done, I'd love to meet you, and have you fall in love with me!
