Meet Merlot! Merlot is a beautiful 6-month-old medium-haired black kitty with a sleek, puma-like look. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and ready to find her forever home. Merlot is very playful and has the cutest little meow when she wants attention. She's still learning to fully trust people but enjoys being near them and accepting pets slowly on her own terms. She may be shy at first in new surroundings but acclimates quickly and loves being in the middle of household activity once she feels comfortable. Merlot gets along great with other cats and would do best in a home with a feline companion—ideally her brother, Mocha, as they love to play together and wear each other out. Dogs are unknown. She would do best in a calmer home with older children who understand kitty boundaries. With a little patience, Merlot will blossom into a playful and loyal companion.
