About Poot James
Poot James is a classic brown mackerel tabby with striking black markings and a serious amount of floof on his tail. Skittish at first, he gravitates to the outer edge of household activity, quietly watching everything unfold. He’s not the type to jump into your lap, but once he decides you’re his person, his need for attention takes over and his chattiness comes out. He’s meticulous about cleaning himself and always respectful around the house. The only boy in his litter, Poot’s tendency is watchful and protective. He gets along well with his littermates, but he needs careful introductions to new cats—using patient techniques is key for him. Given his gentle but wary nature, he often does better with female or younger cats. While food is a strong motivator, new people may find he remains alert and guarded until trust is earned. His physical traits stand out: dark brown and black paws, wise upturned eyes, a long nose, and a resemblance to the Deer God from Princess Mononoke. Poot James comes with his favorite toy, and could truly thrive with a family willing to give him space as well as attention. Your new best friend is just one click away.
