DOB: 11/22/2025 Sex/Breed: Female German Shepherd mix Weight: 21 lbs Rescued from: Overcrowded shelter Maggie spent the early part of her life living in the woods with a feral colony of dogs. Thanks to a group of dedicated rescuers who worked to safely trap and help the dogs, Maggie was one of the lucky ones given a chance at a better life. She’s still learning to trust people and will need a patient adopter who can give her time and space to gain confidence. Maggie would do best in a home with another dog to help show her the ropes. A securely fenced yard would also help her feel safe as she continues learning new things, including walking on a leash. Despite all the changes in her life, Maggie has remained a very sweet girl.
