Cactus may look a little prickly at first, but just like her namesake, she's full of quiet beauty once you take the time to get close. This sleek black girl is a bit shy and prefers to take things at her own pace, watching the world carefully before deciding who earns her trust. But give her patience, a calm home, and a little kindness, and you'll start to see her softer side bloom. Beneath that cautious exterior is a sweet, loyal companion who just needs someone willing to let her grow at her own speed. This girl's owner moved out of her apartment -- and abandoned her without a second though. She has a $100 adoption fee. All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. We also have a cat cafe full of friendly, furry faces -- Whiskers Catnip Cottage in Granville! We are a registered, volunteer run 501c3 non-profit organization. We do have the ability to fly a cat or pair of kittens via Southwest's SWATT program to any location served by Southwest Airlines. It isn't free but has been a great way to transport animals in a timely manner.
