About Pua

Location: Richfield, MN Pua is a very sweet puppy. She has puppy energy and she likes to play. She is going through her mouthy phase so having plenty of toys on hand to put in her mouth is a must. Currently, she lives with an older dog and she is very good with respecting his boundaries. She also lives with three cats that she tries to play with but they're not into it. Sometimes Pua chases them, but for the most part they stand their ground. Pua does pretty well walking on a leash considering her age and experience level. She would like to be able to run some, not just walk, so when she gets a little older running with someone, running along side a bicycle, or pulling an inline skater are activities she would probably enjoy. Maybe even swimming! Pua likes to play with toys - tug of war at the moment. Playing fetch with a ball or frisbee are possibilities for the near future. She is very agile. Pua is working on house training and being kenneled. She is also working on manners - mainly not jumping up on people and keeping paws off the kitchen counters. But she is very friendly and curious and that's what comes naturally. For as lively as she can be, she also likes to be close to her human. She can frequently be found snoozing on the couch next to her human or lying at her human's feet while in the kitchen. Pua will do best with a patient family that has older children who are chill, and a person or family that frequently and routinely engage in physical activities in which Pua can participate. Pua is a wonderfully fun girl who is intelligent and will benefit greatly from training to stimulate her mind and teach her discipline. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
