Meet Milly - one of the happiest doggos you’ll ever meet. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance best friend, look no further than this certified 10/10 good girl. Milly is a super happy 6-year-old doodle 60lbs (yellow labradoodle, we think) who was found as a stray with minor injuries that have all since healed. She clearly was someone’s pet, as she knows basic commands and is fully crate and house trained. While Milly’s history is unknown, she remains the absolute SWEETEST girl. She is incredibly friendly, well-behaved and loves everybody she meets. She doesn’t mind other dogs, but is genuinely more interested in humans. Milly has 3 modes: sleep, eat, and relax. She can get playful sometimes, but in extreme moderation and prefers pets and cuddles to toys. Milly is a good listener and is extremely food motivated. That being said, don’t leave food unattended or within reach on the counter. She’ll find it! She walks nicely on a leash and is getting better every day. Squirrels and smells are still VERY interesting to her so sometimes she gets distracted and pulls, but we see improvement every day. Milly is very gentle and SUPER low maintenance. A simple walk or trip to the dog park is enough to wear her out. She is very attached to people so would do best in a house where someone is home most of the time. She is the best companion and gives nudges when it’s time to eat or when she needs to go out. She doesn’t mind being crated when her foster-parents are out of the house. Milly is mostly quiet but will bark when she is scared or hears a noise. For the most part, she likes to silently sit and watch people pass by the house. She remains timid and gentle and, despite all the turmoil she’s recently been through, she has NEVER been aggressive to humans. She just wants love and pets! Her foster parents can’t stress enough how sweet this pup is and how EASY she is to take care of. She will be a wonderful addition to someone’s home.
