About Cork

Cork, also known as Silly Goose, is a year-old pittie mix with 60 pounds of pure chocolate chaos and affection. Fostered in East Norriton, Cork embodies the big, goofy friend who has the confidence of a linebacker and the heart of a teddy bear. Personal space isn't his strong suit—if you're sitting, expect 60 pounds of enthusiastic cuddles piled on your lap. His cartoonish, expressive eyes always seem to register surprise at his own antics. Cork is housebroken and crates well through the night. He loves making dog friends, exploring outside, and gets wildly excited about the small things in life. At the end of the day, he's the ideal furry Netflix companion—ready to snuggle and offer his judgment on your snack choices. As a young dog, he's still working on refining his house manners and leash skills (sometimes forgetting he’s not a tiny puppy), so consistent training will be key to helping him mature. Though occasionally startled by new sounds or situations, Cork quickly relaxes in a safe environment and becomes a committed cuddle monster. He’s dog-friendly, doesn't require another dog in the home but would enjoy one, and would thrive with a yard to run around in. He’ll do best with dog-savvy kids 10 and older due to his sometimes mouthy excitement. Note: Cork has a heart murmur that does not affect his daily life but may need future monitoring. He’s the lovable goof whose combination of chaotic energy and big love makes life a little brighter. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
