Meet Stella, the little lady of the litter with the sweetest soul. Born on 12/19 to a mama who appears to be a Shar Pei mix, Stella carries her mom's look along with a gentle, easygoing personality that makes her impossible not to love. Like the rest of her siblings, her exact breed mix is a bit of a mystery, but we expect she'll grow into a large sized dog. Right now, though, she's the perfect size for cozy cuddle sessions and quiet companionship. Stella is a more reserved puppy who prefers a calm snuggle and a good nap over wild puppy chaos. She's a laid-back, docile girl who enjoys chewing on her toys and soaking up affection once she feels comfortable. She can be a little shy with kids at first, but with patience and kindness she continues to come out of her shell. She hasn't met a cat yet, so her feelings about feline friends are still a mystery. Her foster has noticed that one of Stella's front legs is a little stiff when she walks. Our vet believes it's likely related to early malnutrition and normal growing pains, and we're taking proactive steps to support her while she grows. Stella has started on a large breed puppy formula and her foster is helping her with gentle stretches to build strength. She's otherwise a happy, sweet puppy who just needs the same things every growing pup needs—good nutrition, a loving home, and a family cheering her on. Stella is up to date on her age-appropriate vaccines and will be spayed when she's a little older. She'll be ready to start her next adventure on 3/11, and with a little patience and a lot of love, this soft-hearted girl is going to make an incredibly loyal and loving companion.
