When she arrived, she was dealing with some unfortunate skin issues on her back, but she's been recovering beautifully and taking it all in stride like the strong girl she is. Through it all, Merida has remained nothing but kind, gentle, and loving with everyone at the shelter. She greets people with warmth and carries herself with the quiet bravery of a dog who's ready to leave the hard parts behind and step into something better. On top of everything else, she enjoys the company of dogs and cats!
