Zuko would do best in a calm, quiet home where he can decompress at his own pace and feel secure. A confident, friendly cat companion would be a huge help to him-he looks to other cats for reassurance and would benefit greatly from having a social role model to show him that people aren't so scary. While Zuko may not be a lap kitten right away, with time, consistency, and gentle care, he has the potential to make progress and build trust. He's best suited for an adopter who understands shy cats and is willing to give him the space and patience he needs to feel safe.
