She is shy and undersocialized due to limited human interaction early in life and will require a patient, understanding home as she continues to build confidence. Muffin would do best in a calm, quiet home where she can decompress at her own pace and feel secure. A confident, friendly cat companion would be a huge help to her-she looks to other cats for reassurance and would benefit greatly from having a social role model to show her that people aren't so scary. While Muffin may not be a lap kitten right away, with time, consistency, and gentle care, she has the potential to make progress and build trust. She's best suited for an adopter who understands shy cats and is willing to give her the space and patience she needs to feel safe.
