About Pops

Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Say hello to Pops! Pops is a 5-year-old pup with a remarkable backstory—she arrived as a puppy from a historic humane investigation after being rescued from a home with 117 other dogs. After being adopted and spending several happy years in a loving home, she returned to Animal Friends when her previous owner passed away. Transitioning to a new environment with extended family proved tough for her, so she’s seeking a calm setting tailored to her needs. With her gentle nature, Pops is hoping to find an understanding adult-only home where she can be your only canine companion—she’s not interested in sharing her space with other dogs or cats. Once she trusts you, Pops is known to charm with her signature tippy tap toes and her wiggly happiness. She may need a bit of time and a couple of meet-and-greet sessions to warm up to new humans. She’s currently part of a special Foster-To-Adopt program, where you’ll receive support and training guidance for the first three weeks to help Pops settle in smoothly and comfortably. As an Extra Loved resident, Pops embodies the spirit of resilience and the healing power of love. Her journey has been sponsored by a generous donor to help her find a family prepared to shower her with the extra care and patience she deserves. All animals at Animal Friends are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines before going home. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
