Izzy’s journey began far from here, but she’s now seeking a new start in Pittsburgh, PA after arriving from St Thomas through the Pets with Wings program. She’s a mixed breed dog with a medium build who has been through more than most at her age, which has left her understandably cautious around new experiences. Despite her tough beginnings and blindness in her left eye, Izzy’s gentle personality always comes through once she feels safe. She’s sweet-natured and ready for a patient family willing to help her build confidence and discover that the world can be a kind place. With time, she’ll repay that patience many times over.
