About Captain Paddles
Captain Paddles is a neutered male tabby with a short, brown coat, fully healed and ready for his next adventure. This cat comes microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines (Rabies, FVRCP-FeLV), and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. He’s finishing up his basic socialization and will leave with a goody bag of essentials: food, collar and tags, toys, bed, and more. He can be shy at first, so a slow approach is key when introducing yourself or changing his surroundings. Once settled, Captain Paddles becomes a chatty companion who isn’t afraid to sing and hold a conversation. He enjoys playtime with wand toys and is curious but not particularly high-octane. While he seeks out people for affection, he’s content to do his own thing too. Captain Paddles does get overstimulated and may nip fingers when amped up—a sign of his prey drive. For this reason, he shouldn’t live with small children or dogs. Wet food and company are favorites, but this is a cat that needs understanding adopters willing to respect his signals and let him come out of his shell at his own pace. Born January 8th, Captain Paddles is a Capricorn—expect a certain single-minded determination. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
