Meet Lira! (Bonded with Leona), Lira is a 6 year-old miniature dachshund who is part of a bonded pair with Leona. These two are DOXIE cute squared!! They're super adorable with attitude. The definition of SMALL BUT MIGHTY!! They've been spayed, had dental cleaning and are up-to-date-with vaccines. Lira & Leona are the ultimate lap dogs and demand you sit and stay. Happy to crate at night and retreat there during the day for naps. A secure yard is a must. Adopting a Dachshund means welcoming a spunky, devoted friend into your life. They form strong attachments to their people and love being involved in everything. Their small size makes them excellent apartment dogs, but don't underestimate their big-dog attitude.

Summers are hot with strong sun exposure and temperatures frequently reaching 100°F. Keep walks short, carry water, and stick to shaded sections of trails. Early morning is the safest time for outdoor exercise with your pet.
