Meet Darcy Darcy is a 20-pound bundle of spunk, sass, and pure joy! At around 2 years old, this small mixed-breed sweetheart has already done the hard part — raising her babies (who are all in their forever homes!) — and now it’s finally her turn to be someone’s baby. When Darcy first came to rescue, she was heartworm positive, but she bravely completed treatment and is now heartworm-free and thriving. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready for her fresh start. Darcy is full of personality and loves to run and play in the backyard with her toys. She does great with other dogs and would enjoy a playful companion, but she’s also okay being an only dog if she gets plenty of attention. She’s potty trained with frequent trips outside and is learning that leash walks and the crate aren’t so scary — she just needs a little patience and consistency. She can be a bit vocal when she gets excited (she definitely has opinions), so she would likely do best in a home rather than an apartment. Fun, loyal, spirited, and resilient — Darcy is ready to leave her mama days behind and step into a life where she’s spoiled, loved, and cherished.
