About Gidget

Gidget spent years patrolling the grounds outside the shelter, never letting cold or distance keep her from a visit. When last winter's freeze hit hard, she figured out it was time to claim a warm spot inside. She’s now a fixture in the shelter, roaming every corner and making friends both human and feline. Although Gidget once kept her distance, she’s now affectionate and even welcomes pets from newcomers. Her adventurous spirit remains, but she’s grown into the comfort of a steady home. She is strong-willed, curious, and never misses a chance to explore. Gidget doesn't get along with other cats, so she’ll do best as your one and only. She does, however, thrive with gentle children. At about eight years old and with short, sleek black fur, she is spayed, house trained, and fully vetted. Ready to welcome a courageous, sweet companion who truly appreciates a warm home? Gidget is waiting just for you. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
