Meet Davis 🤎🐾 Davis is a 9-year-old German Shepherd who came to us as a stray — and we truly can’t understand how no one came looking for this incredible boy. He is heartworm positive, but he is receiving the care he needs, and we are committed to helping him through treatment. Despite everything, Davis is full of life. He LOVES playtime, enjoys his walks, and absolutely soaks up every ounce of affection he can get. He is a big-hearted boy who just wants to be close to his people. We do our best to give him the attention he craves, but the truth is… it’s hard to replace the comfort of a real home in a shelter environment. Yes, he may be 9 years old — but Davis is young at heart. He still has so much love to give, so many walks to enjoy, and so many happy moments ahead of him. He deserves to spend his golden years on a soft bed, in a peaceful home, surrounded by a family who sees just how special he is. Heartworm treatment can sound scary, but we will gladly talk through what that looks like and support his adopter every step of the way.
