Waiting. 🐾 This absolutely stunning 10-year-old German Shepherd boy named Dakota came to us under heartbreaking circumstances — his beloved owner passed away, and now he’s left trying to understand why his whole world changed. 💔 But let me tell you… this boy is something special. He is incredible. Brilliant. Sweet. Attentive. And in excellent health for his age. Don’t let the “senior” label fool you — he still has plenty of life, love, and loyalty left to give. He is very food motivated (training opportunities galore! 🍖), eager to please, and extremely observant. Honestly, we would not be surprised if he had some sort of police background — every time we walk him past a vehicle, he instinctively circles it and gives it a thorough sniff like he’s working a case. 🚔🐕 He’s sharp as a tack and loves having a job to do. More than anything, though, he just needs a home. A soft place to land. A person to bond with. A quiet, loving environment where he can spend his golden years feeling safe and cherished again.
