He is house trained, crate trained, and comfortable being left alone for several hours at a time. He rides well in the car and has no known medical conditions. Zeus is an intelligent, loyal dog who forms strong bonds with his primary people. With us, he was affectionate and enjoyed belly rubs, treats, squeaky toys, and being close to his owners. Once he is able to run and release his energy, he settles down nicely in the home. He has strong herding instincts and a high energy level. Due to our schedule, he did not consistently receive the level of daily exercise and mental stimulation that a herding-type dog requires. We believe he would thrive in a home that can provide structure, routine, and a job — ideally a rural property, farm setting, or an active home with experience handling working breeds."
