About Oso
Oso is in a foster home in Ft Worth TX We’re honored to be working alongside Karen Perl, who has worked tirelessly to save dogs in need. While these dogs are not directly in our rescue care, we are courtesy posting on her behalf to help them find the loving homes they deserve. Application is required. Copy and Paste https://forms.gle/Qrp8LB91kAhKjawP6 Oso is a neutered male black lab mix 3.5 years of age weighing approximately 66-70lbs. This sweet boy ended up at the shelter due to no fault of his own. He is super sweet, loving, and calm. He was heartworm positive and sailed through heartworm treatment without any issues. He is now heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm prevention. This guy seems to have been trained, knows all his commands, and walks on the leash beautifully. We don’t know what the excuse was to get rid of him but we pulled him off the euthanasia list as he was out of time due to space. He is very inquisitive, smart, calm, and dog friendly. He gets along well with male and female dogs and with medium and large dogs. He has not been tested with toy small dogs and has not been cat tested. He rides well in the car without any anxiety; he is crate trained and he is potty trained. He is up to date on all his shots. This poor sweet boy gets overlooked just because he is an all black doggie. He is a wonderful boy and so deserving of his own forever home. His picture perfect home could be as a solo dog or with a doggie buddy or doggie buddies. He is not a dominant dog; he would enjoy a fenced yard to run and play but not so much being an apartment dog. He would be a great family dog with children; he could also potentially be with a couple or a single person as long as he is part of their day to day family life. Would this handsome boy be a wonderful fit for your forever home? On behalf of Karen Perl, the adoption fee is $350. Transport can be arranged after the adoption is finalized. If you prefer to arrange your own transport, the adoption fee will remain the same. Thank you so much for your valuable support in helping these dogs find loving homes
