Say hello to Leliana! A 4 month old, 15 pound female, Labrador, pitbull terrier mix puppy. Expected to be 50- 60 pounds fully grown. Leli is an excitable little puppy that loves to throw herself into any situation with energy. She loves everyone, people, dogs or cats, she treats everyone like they are a playmate. Being an adorable puppy, but a puppy nontheless, Leliana will need proper guidance to teach her to act like a young lady should, teaching her to be house trained and to go to the bathroom outside. Leliana has expressive ears that will keep you clued in on what has her attention and how she feels about it. Leliana loves her toys, loves to stretch her long legs with a run and loves to cuddle up every chance she gets. Through a few roadtrips, we've discovered that Leliana gets motion sickness, but can be resolved with mild medication. Leliana is expected to be a higher energy puppy as she grows big and will need a family that can give her the time and structure she needs to grow into a great dog for the whole family. Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet. ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
