About Star
Star came into rescue after being found wandering a neighborhood with another pup, and she's blossomed in foster care. Born on March 6, 2024, Star is a large, short-coated Labrador Retriever mix, now about 2 years old. She’s house trained, crate trained, and comfortable on leash, making her an easy companion for adventures like camping or hiking. Star’s black coat shines and she carries herself with confidence. She is a quick learner who genuinely wants to please, picking up commands easily and enjoying time with people and dogs alike. Star has done well with children eight and older. Her friendly, social nature wins over everyone she meets. She hasn’t been cat tested, so her rescuers recommend a home without cats. Star is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped—ready for a family to make her their own. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
