About Jax

Jax is a sturdy, sweet-natured American Staffordshire Terrier mix estimated to be between 3 and 5 years old, weighing in around 65 to 70 pounds. He came off the streets of Houston in rough shape, but after dedicated care and recovery, he’s thriving, healthy, and ready to settle into a real home for good. Jax is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. You will find him completely house and crate trained—he treats his kennel like a sanctuary and doesn’t mind spending time there, especially if treats are involved. Jax walks politely on a leash and responds well to basic commands, though he’s happy to keep practicing, especially with treats as motivation. He’s vocal and will let you know when mealtime or potty breaks are due. Jax absolutely adores all people and thrives on attention, but he’s not compatible with cats since he likes to chase them. Other dogs, however, are fine with him. Toys and marrow bones are some of his favorite things, and he’s quite the love bug with anyone he meets. Your new best friend is just one click away.
