Hi, my name is Max! I am a handsome three-year-old (DOB: 01/01/23) Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Terrier mix and weigh 75 pounds. I am a big sweetheart with an even bigger heart. My favorite things in life are snuggles, attention from my people, and playing with my dog friends. I am a social guy who truly loves everyone I meet — including children! My story started when I was found wandering around a neighborhood, happily greeting anyone willing to stop and say hello. I clearly belonged to someone at some point because I am such a loving and well-mannered boy, but despite efforts to find my family, no one ever came for me. I wasn’t in the best shape when I was rescued, but those days are behind me now. These days, I’m soaking up all the warm beds, full meals, belly rubs, and love I can get. I enjoy going on walks and being out and about with my people. I have a nice balance of energy — playful and active outdoors, but calm and cuddly once back inside the house. After a fun day, I’m perfectly happy curling up in my crate with a good chew bone and relaxing nearby. I am dog friendly and would absolutely welcome a furry sibling, but most of all, I just want a family who will love me as much as I’ll love them. My people say I am incredibly affectionate, loyal, and grateful for every bit of kindness shown to me. I have never been around cats so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines.
