She is bright, curious, and delightfully silly, always eager to follow her nose and explore the world around her. Walks are her absolute favorite, and they’re especially important to her now as she enjoys her golden years. Darla is the kind of pup who becomes your shadow, happily following you from room to room and never missing a chance to snuggle up close. She truly thrives on love and companionship. Her owner adores her deeply, but due to illness can no longer provide the care she deserves, so Darla is searching for a gentle, loving guardian to share her senior years with—someone who will treasure daily walks and plenty of cuddle time. She would do best as the only pet in the home, as she prefers not to share her space with other dogs, and she’s looking for a calm environment without children. Darla is potty trained, crate trained, and actually loves her crate—it’s her cozy little safe space.
