About Felicity

Felicity, known affectionately as City, embodies resilience and warmth. She narrowly escaped the euthanasia list and made a lasting impact at Newark’s Associated Humane Societies, where volunteers adored her. Now, at two years old and tipping the scales at 63 pounds, she’s convinced she’s a pint-sized lap dog and shares love with full-body hugs and endless kisses. City craves human connection; she’ll curl up in your lap or lean against your legs at any opportunity, always eager for affection and attention. She’s lively, clever, and shines in active settings. Give her room to sprint, a fetch toy to chase, or a snowy patch to gobble, and you’ll see her at her happiest. Car rides and treats are bonuses, and she’s happy to "talk" to you with her charming new voice when she’s got opinions. City is crate trained, sleeps without fuss, and welcomes puzzles or enrichment — especially if treats are involved. She knows her basics and loves to learn. With children, she’s a gentle, loving companion. City isn’t reactive to other dogs but prefers to be the only pet in her home, relishing all the family’s love for herself. After all she’s endured, she deserves to be the center of someone’s world. Felicity radiates happiness, loyalty, and affection, hoping for a home where she’ll be cherished just as much as she’ll cherish her people. Once City loves you, she means it for life.
