About Ranger Von Raisdorf

Think you are the one? Submit an application! Ranger von Raisdorf is a stunning 4-year-old red and black German Shepherd with a long, flowing coat. At the rescue, Ranger presents as the perfect companion—confident, friendly, and eager to please. In a home setting, however, his protective instincts become more pronounced as he tries to dedicate himself to his new people, sometimes becoming overprotective, especially on walks. Ranger needs a loving but assertive home where his training is reinforced and his strong desire to have a purpose is positively channeled. This intelligent, treat-motivated dog is housebroken and already knows his Sit and Down commands. With a moderate energy level, Ranger enjoys playing with toys, swimming, and would thrive once his handler establishes themselves as calm and in control. He will do best as the only pet in the household, ideally with someone who is both mentally and physically strong enough to be his guide. With structure and guidance, Ranger can become the most devoted companion you've ever had. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
