Marcel von Medow is a gorgeous 2 year old black and red German Shepherd. If you've never had your breath literally taken away at the sight of a stunning dog, then you must meet Marcel. Although this striking boy is the kind of dog people stop mid-sentence to stare at, it’s his great temperament that will steal your heart. Once you’re “his person,” he will happily appoint himself as your full-time shadow. He loves being close and has a fun, goofy side that pops out when he’s feeling happy and safe. He’s a wonderful mid-energy companion, happy to join you for walks and adventures, then relax by your side. Marcel is making great progress with his leash skills, learning to stay close, and with gentle guidance, will walk nicely in a heel position, occasionally checking in with his person as he goes. He meets people and dogs well on walks and moves comfortably in a pack. In playgroups, he may be a little unsure at first, but once he settles in, his friendly nature takes over. He’s a great greeter and even gives doggy kisses to his new-found friends. This friendly and social boy has the potential to be playful once he’s comfortable, however, kitties are not part of his social circle. Marcel is that perfect mix of stunning, affectionate ands is beautiful inside and out. Rescued from the Lancaster animal shelter.
