Rufus is a young, energetic 60-pound boy who loves to play and stay active. He enjoys rough-and-tumble play with his dog buddies and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. He plays appropriately, avoids real conflicts, and would likely be a great candidate for dog parks or multi-dog homes. At night, he's calm and quiet, sleeping peacefully through the evening. Rufus appears to be well house-trained, as he has not had any indoor accidents in foster care. He's a smart, eager learner who already knows his "sit" command and will thrive with continued training. Like many young dogs, he'll need some work on recall before enjoying off-leash freedom. Cat note: Rufus becomes very excited when teased by outdoor feral cats, so any home with resident cats would require careful introductions, management, and training.
