Trooper has been through a lot for a young dog. Found with a broken jaw as a puppy, heās now missing the front portion of his lower jaw, but youād never guess it from the way he tackles life. He dives into everythingāfetch, mealtimes, nosework, and his own self-created gamesāwith wild energy and a clever streak. Trooper is unstoppable in spirit and loves to work closely with his handler, always eager to please and up for a challenge. If youāre looking for a bouncy, playful, and deeply motivated companion, Trooperās a standout. Heās got strong toy, hunt, and food drives, easily motivated and highly cooperative. His athleticism is exceptional, but he needs clear, fair communication from an experienced handler who will give him structure and trust. Heās already trained in foundational obedience and nosework skills and is fully housebroken. Trooper is comfortable with other dogs after proper introductions and is highly handler-oriented, though he is wary of strangers at first. Not recommended for homes with small or young children, but he may adapt to cats. Heās best suited for those who want an outlet for his high energyāno bitework, but agility, detection, dock diving, or long hikes would fit him perfectly.
