Gladys came to the rescue from a local shelter and quickly made it clear just how sweet she is. At 7 years old and around 12 pounds, she carries that classic pug alertness, seeming to notice everything around her. She’s content to do her own thing—gets along with other dogs but usually prefers her own space. Watching Gladys quietly observe the world is genuinely entertaining. She’s very well-behaved in her crate and hasn’t made a sound. House training appears solid, which makes everything easier. Whatever her past was, it’s obvious she’s used to being part of a home—Gladys settled right in like she’s always belonged. Unfortunately, she’s currently being treated for heartworm, so she won’t be ready for adoption until late June or early July.
