Flits quickly charms everyone he meets. Volunteers rave about his polite manners, intelligence, and handsome looks—walking with Flits is often the highlight of their day. The phrase 'quick favorite' pops up a lot when folks talk about him. Out on walks, he calmly observes other dogs but doesn't react, and once he's in the yard, he’ll sometimes prance around like he owns the place, only stopping for a treat or two. Flits is treat-motivated and already knows how to "sit," and he’s picking up "down" fast. He’s proven himself to be a sweet companion, and a pleasure to walk, but appreciates time to settle in and prefers a calm, structured environment. Flits should be the only dog in the home. He does best with gradual introductions to any resident dogs, ideally out in neutral territory. Muzzle training is recommended for safety during introductions. Group dog walks and dog parks aren’t his scene, and he’s happiest with clear boundaries and thoughtful management. Flits is currently taking Prozac—any changes to this should be made under a veterinarian’s guidance and never stopped abruptly.
