About Snoopy
Snoopy is handsome young pup who needs a little bit of help to gain socialization and be a brave boy. He was previously at PACC and has spent nearly a year in a home. He did well with other dogs his size, was reportedly house trained, and was well- behaved when left home alone. While Snoopy struggles in the shelter, his former family described him as an affectionate, playful dog who loves toys and being near his trusted humans. Here’s what volunteers at the shelter have said: “I took Snoopy to the play yard this week. He had a great time running around and chasing his kennelmate. It’s an absolute joy to watch! Snoopy is shy and is more confident with his kennelmate by his side. I think he’ll open up soon.” “Snoopy absolutely loves fetching a ball! I threw him a tennis ball today and he would run after it and bring it back, I think he’d repeat this all day long if you have the time. He might lie down and chew it a bit but the moment you throw another ball he runs again. He sits for treats and takes them gently.” “Snoopy was so fun to walk! He was super into watching the leaves tumble by. Very sweet boy who sat nicely for treats.” Snoopy has been independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup; he’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. If you can help Snoopy feel safe and build confidence, please ask to meet him today!!
