Meet Teddy 🐾 Teddy is about 4–5 months old, a German Shepherd mix, and currently weighs around 30 pounds (2/25/26). He’ll likely be 50–60 pounds full grown. Teddy is the mama’s boy! He loves to be loved on. He’s right in the middle energy-wise, playful but not wild, but always down for a snuggle. He loves his people. He’ll plop himself in your lap and settle in like a little teddy bear. That’s exactly how he got his name! He can be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly. Once he does, he’s all cuddles! He’s: ✔️ Good with kids ✔️ Good with other dogs ✔️ Good with cats ✔️ Crate trained ✔️ Vaccinated House training is still in progress, but he has consistently been going potty outside. He’s learning leash skills quickly, though loud noises and cars can still make him a little nervous. He’s the more sensitive of his siblings, so he’ll need someone patient and encouraging as he builds confidence. He knows “sit,” and is easily treat-motivated. He definitely is enthusiastic to please! Teddy was found dumped with his two siblings at the end of a dead-end road, all three suffering from a skin infection, at just 2 months old. They were just babies left out there without their mom to protect them. Even with that start, he has the biggest heart. He wants to love and be loved. He would do best in a home where someone is around often, especially someone who works from home. He bonds deeply and thrives on connection. He needs a family willing to love on him, take him on walks, and help him feel safe in new situations. To Teddy’s future family: You are getting the sweetest, most loyal little shadow. He doesn’t need much, just your time, your patience, and a lap to curl up in. He will give you his whole heart in return.
