Ollie is a 4–5 month old German Shepherd mix who currently weighs 32 lbs (2/25/26) and will likely be around 50–60 lbs full grown. If I had to describe him in a few words: mellow, independent, man’s-man energy, but also a snuggler! This boy is such a good mix of confidence and sweetness. He bonds quickly, loves people, and will happily accept pets from anyone willing to give them. He is very treat motivated (very smart), already knows the command “sit”, and is learning recall and leash skills quickly. House training is still in progress, but he very consistent and whines when he needs to go potty outside. And somehow, he is still the happiest-go-lucky little guy. We recently took him to a softball game where he sat on his blanket playing with his toys like he’d been doing it his whole life. He enjoys walks around the park, exploring new places, and cuddling on the couch. He’s independent enough to entertain himself, but he still wants to be with his person.
