Charlie came to us after his family had to move and couldn’t bring him along. He’s spent most of his life on five acres, living mostly outdoors but with no trouble shifting inside. Charlie hasn’t ventured much beyond home, so you’re getting a dog comfortable with a slower pace and familiar surroundings. He appreciates a quieter environment and would do best in a home without very young children—he’s not fond of anyone up in his face. Previous leash trauma makes him wary, but we’re working on it; patience and a calm touch help him open up. Charlie does well with other dogs and seems unfazed by cats.
