About Fiona
Fiona is a sweet, energetic girl who’s always up for a run or a splash in the water—she’s not shy about hopping into her own kiddie pool or spinning in circles when she’s excited. She’s loyal and craves attention from her people, bonding especially well with children—her foster kids are toddlers and school-aged, and she lights up with them. Fiona is enthusiastic about toys, especially ones she can chew, and winds down best after plenty of exercise. She gets along with other dogs but prefers calmer companions since high-energy dogs make her a bit anxious. Fiona’s still learning about manners and sometimes needs a reminder not to jump, but she’s catching on fast. She does best meeting any resident dogs ahead of time. She doesn’t get along with cats who run, as her herding instincts kick in and she wants to chase. With people, she warms up most quickly to women, although men can win her over with treats and a little patience. House trained, crate-experienced, and full of heart, Fiona is happiest cuddling up after a busy day. She loves to talk when she’s excited, and her tail is always wagging. Fiona is looking for a home ready to keep up with her energy and offer plenty of love in return. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
