Her current foster said: Wishbone has settled right in and is such a funny little girl! She's so food motivated and eager to make her foster humans and foster doggy sister happy. She kept her crate dry all night and not a peep, uses pee pads if needed, but is really good at going outside! She wants snacks, cuddles and playtime! And side note, she has such soft fur! Wishbone is a well socialized, happy, playful pup! Note from her foster: At just 3 months old wishbone is already showing what a special little girl she is. This adventurous pup is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and always ready to be part of the action. She has a sweet, affectionate personality and absolutely loves cuddling up with her people after a day of exploring. Wishbone is wonderfully social and enjoys meeting new people, making her a great fit for a familly. She's eager to please and is already off to a fantastic start with her training--she's pee pad trained, working hard on outdoor potty skills, crate trained, and rides in a car calmly. She is also learning to walk on a leash like a pro. For such a young puppy wishbone is impressively well-behaved and adaptable. She gets along beautifully with kids, other dogs, and even cats making her an easy addition to a variety of homes. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
